01 / ABOUT

A career grounded in care.
A vision for better services.

I’m Dr. Faisal Al-Terkait, a consultant medical oncologist and Head of the Medical Oncology Department at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital in Kuwait.

I trained in the UK, earning my medical degree from Newcastle and completing specialist training in medical oncology at hospitals in Leeds. Before joining Jaber Hospital, I worked as a consultant oncologist in the UK and led the Breast Cancer Unit at Kuwait Cancer Control Center.

I work with patients and their families to guide treatment, and with colleagues across specialties to provide coordinated care. Alongside clinical practice, I develop oncology services, support research, and teach healthcare professionals.
